Curb Appeal
Start with the exterior of your house, or your curb appeal. Look at the outside of your house from the view of a passerby. What do you notice first? What wonderful features seem to fade into the background?
Acknowledging this assists us in determining what plan of action we can use to invite buyers from the street and into your home. If your house isn't at its best on the outside with refreshed paint and bright greenery we'll need to address those issues. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers see themselves enjoying game night in your living room, relaxing in your master bedroom or inviting family and friends over for a dinner in your dining room? We want your Open House to welcome buyers and give them a sense of contentment. I'll help you achieve this by recommending small improvements that highlight the features of your property.
I'll advise you eliminate pieces that give the illusion of clutter. Counter tops should be clutter-free. Kitschy sculptures, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' artwork should get moved out of sight. We'll simplify the decor of house. Ugly or messy spaces make your home feel smaller and buyers have a harder time picturing themselves calling your place home.
I know instantly where a room's best characteristics are and how to show them off. Changes that directly affect your bottom line include fixable like pieces of furniture that should get rearranged, rooms that need fresh paint, carpet that needs steaming, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need washing
With me by your side, you'll know that your house is likable and that it's comfortable, avoiding "offensive" or "too-bright" colors on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can try renting furnishings. You want your house to look inviting as opposed to bare and uninhabited.

Setting the Stage
The entire time your house in on the market, we want to engage the buyer's senses. To counteract darkness is important and we'll open curtains, and add lighting where needed to show off your place. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and make sure a pleasing aroma flows from every room. We'll make use of cozy-looking bedspreads, and throw pillows on your loveseat and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your current home is their future home. |
